Andrew Mike Micos, the founder of MAC Windows, with over 30 year’s industry experience has the overall responsibility of day to day operations of the business. A boutique brand which prides itself on service, quality and integrity. MAC Windows offers the benefits of personal service and the versatility to undertake small and large scale residential and commercial developments, with short lead times and exceptional value.
As Managing Director, Andrew’s role in the business is to provide the strategic direction, structured growth and governance for MAC Windows. Andrew is actively involved in developing and maintaining client relationships and overseeing all aspects from tender stage to completion.
Andrew’s extensive experience has a solution based approach towards achieving a harmonious architectural design with practical and innovative functionality.
Traditionally MAC Windows, a commercial fabricator with projects ranging from Eastern Suburbs luxury homes and extending to large high-rise, high-density commercial installations, has recently introduced a domestic line to service low-rise home renovators and project home developers.
HISTORY
MAC Windows derives its proud lineage from the successful business philosophies and work ethics instilled through Andrew’s father Mike Micos, the original founder of Micos Aluminium Industries.
Mike Micos commenced manufacturing windows out of a humble horse stable in Newtown, Sydney in 1958. He was later joined by his three brothers; Nick, Con and Steve who together worked tirelessly to build a name brand synonymous with quality and service.
In 1969, Mike built their factory and office on an old pig farm in Rhodes Street Hillsdale and in 1974 went on to supply and install the windows for the landmark MLC building in Sydney. This skyrocketed the company onwards and upwards from there.
Andrew, Mike’s son, continues the legacy started by his father, working with builders and developers looking for a trusted, experienced provider of aluminium windows and doors.
